Rental Cars
This option can be more cost effective than renting a taxi depending on where you are located in the area. Agencys are located at the airport, most hotels and in downtown areas. Roads are often in poor condition and drivers are aggressive which can make driving difficult. As the road signs are all in Spanish navigation can be an issue for those unfamiliar with the language. In the region of Baja California Sur seat belts are mandatory and speed limits are enforced. Watch out for the one way streets in the downtown areas as maneuvering them can be a challenge.
