Hills Upon Hills

At the beginning of this year I had the opportunity to explore the hills of San Francisco. And let me tell you, I’ve been waiting to explore these hills for as long as I can remember, and so when I was asked if I wanted to go to San Fran for a week, I jumped at the offer.

One of my favourite things about San Fran is the old school feel the place has to it. With cable cars masquerading through the hills, the quaint shops, mesmerizing sights and history within any borough you step into you’re stay in San Fran will truly be one to remember.

As we embarked on our journey through San Fran I noticed a few things. Firstly, the boroughs are extremely spread out, which of course entails either a whole lot of walking or taking to the lovely little cable cars to truly experience San Fran in its finest hour. Secondly, the cable car is going to become your best friend. You’ll embark on a journey through San Fran, and you’ll want to scour the ends of the earth to find where the cable car stops so as you don’t have to walk up and down the hundreds of hills of San Fran.

Of course, walking through the hills is like your walking through a fairytale, with quaint homes, impeccable lawns, and beauty all around you. No matter which way you look at it, either from walking through the hills or from standing high atop a mountain, the hills of San Fran are truly something everyone must put on their bucket list. They may be a killer to walk up, but you just never know what’s on the other side, and let me tell you, there is much to explore in San Francisco.
