Best Island Hour

We all love a good Happy Hour, but have you ever wanted to experience a Happy Hour that was better than good? I know I would want to, and so, I’m going to tell you about the World Famous Rick’s Café located in Negril, Jamaica where tourists flock to on any given day to catch the sunset and have a few cheap drinks.

The spot has been opened for almost 40 years, and was started by the legendary Richard Hershman. Way back when, if you can believe it, Negril was a sleepy fishing village, and so, Rick’s Café was masterfully created to add some excitement to the town. Located on the West End Cliffs, as you sit along the coast sipping a bevi or two, you’ll not only party on with a plethora of visitors but will take in the world’s most spectacular sunset. Deemed as a world famous sunset spot, many locals and tourists stop what their doing and head on over to Rick’s to take in the beauty of this spot.

One of the beautiful things about the Happy Hour is the dedication Rick and the rest of the team have to ensure you’ll be looked after the second you walk up to this rocky spot. Having been completely destroyed by a couple of hurricanes, Rick’s Café continually rebuilds itself and creates an oasis for people to just come and chill out for the evening. It certainly shows a lot about the family of employees that they are dedicated to developing Rick’s Café into the best in the world, I do have to say I think they’re already at the top in my eyes.
