The world is ever changing, and with that comes a thing of perfection that stands as tall as the eye can see. Creating the world’s tallest building is a hard feat to come by, but in Dubai, they have set the bar high, and they have seemingly created the impossible.
The Burji Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, spans as tall as can be at 2,716.5 feet (approx. 828 metres) tall, and with more than 160 stories certainly holds a world record or two. As the tallest building, highest outdoor observation deck, the list really does go on and on. One of the most beautiful things about Burj Khalifa is the uniquely inspired design that was drummed up in the creation of this place. The structure stands tall in the middle of Dubai’s booming metropolis, and was awarded the design genius of the Chicago office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP with Adrian Smith FAIA, and RIBA. Now that may seem like a whole bunch of unnecessary jargon, but the place is worth standing under, over, and around. It’s certainly an architectural and engineering masterpiece and is home to luxury through and through.
Certainly deemed as a global icon, the observation deck is located on the 124th floor and offers views of the city and beyond, a park that expands 11 hectares of greenery and water features that showcase the perfection of the city and structure so elite, you will want to stay the night in the one and only exclusive Armani Hotel.
A sophisticated, modern delight, the world’s tallest building is in more ways than one, as tall as can be.
