A Trip to ‘Happy-Land’

Imagine being handed a survey, a survey like no other, where you have to answer questions based on your happiness factor? This is how we as a world measure the happiness factor in a country, which is when you think about it a pretty ingenious way of defining happiness. If you’re unaware of where ‘happy-land’ is in today’s day and age, well that’s simple, it’s the quaint country of Denmark.

And so it begins, I’m going to try and decompress why Denmark is the happiest country in the world. Denmark has been flagged the happiest country in the world because the people are overtly friendly, the country is naturally impeccable, and the economy is booming. The country is naturally happy because they have the best quality of life, know the difference between a good, and a really good wine and they live in an environmentally sound country. Friends from Denmark used to tell me how they don’t drive; all they do is cycle around their city. Now, don’t health and happiness go hand in hand?

Now to rub some of the happiness onto your shoulders, well that’s simple; all you have to do is venture straight on up to Denmark. Venture off onto the cobbled stone streets of Copenhagen, take the kids to Legoland, explore the art installations at The Light Visions Festival and head out to Arhus to escape to the royal gardens. With an abundant of blissful sights, there surely is no wonder why Denmark is the happiest country in the world.
