The palace was built in the early 20th century, and with its Gothic imitations, Romantic revivalist style, Manueline and Renaissance architectural form and mixed with mythical symbolism, the palace is mesmerizing. The beauty of this palace is not only the fact that its façade is architecturally a sight to see, but its five floors, and Regaleira Chapel adds to its brilliance.
