The Taj Mahal is where sheer perfection lies. Deemed as one of the wonders of the world, The Taj stands tall in Agra, India, was constructed over a 22 year period, cost 32 Million Rupees, was completed way back in 1648 CE and is made entirely of white marble. Now if that’s not much to boast about, than I really don’t know what is. The Taj is really a thing of beauty no matter which way you look at it. Whether you’re standing in front of it to catch the sunrise or sunset, the building was masterfully created by The Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife and queen Mumtaz Mahal, maybe that’s why it’s so beautiful.

As you walk towards The Taj, you’ll walk through 980 square feet of Mughal gardens. With a reflective pool, perfectly aligned trees, flowing rivers and 16 sunken flowerbeds, the gardens are just as picturesque as the building itself. And then, once you touch ground inside of the building you’ll walk through architecturally sound beauty, semi precious stones forming twining vines, fruits and flowers, the burial chamber of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan and the 99 beautiful names of Allah, the sight really can’t get any more magical.

As you embark on your journey to The Taj, you’re going to want to remember that because of its naturally constructed beauty, vehicles aren’t allowed within a certain distance of it, and so many tourists get their taxi to drop them off and as they walk up to The Taj they are in awe no matter where they look.
