As you embark on a vacation across the world to Sydney, Australia, one of the stops you’re going to want to make while in Sydney is to The Chinese Garden of Friendship. Step into a world of natural beauty, creative culture and amazing architecture as you stroll through the picturesque gardens. The construction of the gardens were initiated by the local Chinese community to commemorate their rich history and close bond between Sydney and its sister city, Guangzhou in Guangdong Province, China.

Being one of the loveliest Chinese gardens outside of Asia, as you stroll through it you’ll stroll through exotic plants, hidden stone pathways, lakes, and a lovely waterfall. Having had the opportunity to walk through the garden while visiting Sydney I was mesmerized by the natural beauty of the spot as it’s tucked away along Darling Harbour, a major tourist destination of Sydney.

Perfectly capturing the essence of the five elements and the energy of Qi, The Chinese Garden speaks volumes to those who appreciate the intricate details of discovery natural beauty of a garden. With many discoveries to be made as you walk through the garden be sure to have your camera in one hand, and a map in the other. What I thoroughly enjoyed about walking through the garden was the simple, yet intricate nature of each courtyard and natural displays. If you have a love for the way Chinese gardens are artfully designed with lakes, forests and waterfalls, than you will certainly have to take the time to stand amongst friends in the Garden of Friendship in Sydney.
