Peace Along The Shore
One thing that has always attracted me to the islands of Greece is the fact that everyone just seems overly happy all the time. Now I guess this could be in large part to the fact that they are living life in uniquely designed, brilliantly white homes, or it could be the fact that they are living right beside the seashore. Whichever fact it is, I want apart of it.
The second you stroll up to Karpathos, the second largest of the Greek Dodecanese islands, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped onto a perfectly crafted island, with beauty in sight wherever you look. The beaches of Karpathos are unique in their own right. With the north coast being only accessible by sea and part way by jeep, and the west coast only up and running when low winds are cascading through the beach, the beaches offer guests a spot to gain a little insight into what it means to live a peaceful, plentiful life.
The island itself is the epitome of all things perfect. With its overflowing mountainous lands, to the cute little rustic towns, the island is exuding with tranquility everywhere you look. Whether you wish to be lost in the sea for the day on a fishing excursion, or if you would rather explore the unique Saria Islet and fall into the mountainous stretches of the islet, it’s totally up to you. Just be sure you find a quaint little vacation pad by the sandy shores of Karpathos as your vacation to this peaceful, perfectly manicured island is yours for the taking.
