The Best Ride in Town

Having embarked on a whole slew of adventures in Maui, we most recently partook in one of the best rides in town. What adventure is that, well, we took a helicopter ride along Maui’s picturesque beauty.

With its diverse landscape of dormant volcanoes, rugged lava flows, deep valleys with flowing waterfalls, and the most lush tropical rainforest yet, soaring high above the island is one of the best ways to take in all of its beauty.

Taking the Hana/Haleakala Tour, we were able to safely soar right over the famous Haleakala Crater, fly over the rainforests of Hana and be immersed in a thing of beauty as we perused along the coast. The helicopter ride, I do have to admit was a little scary to start off with, but after the pilot eased us into the momentum of the ride, along with the dips and swoops through the hills, it was truly was an exhilarating ride.

The best part of taking a helicopter ride through the picturesque views of Maui is that you don’t have to take the windy ride up to Hana or walk the Haleakala Crater. Of course, after you land safely back on the helipad, you’ll surely want to purchase your very own photo to commemorate your time flying high. It’s sort of like you’re getting this one perfect picture of what Maui looks like from up above, and trust me when I say its one of the most magical views.
